This offering will afford participants to learn about a number of significant first-hand experiences whereby one or more of the 7 Habit of Highly Effective People was used in an educational setting.  The session will involve “real-life” examples of the 7 Habits when dealing with colleagues, parents, students and administrators.  A particular focus will be Habit 1 - Be Proactive and the concepts of Circle of Influence and Circle of Concern and the correlation of Habit 1 with Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind or envisioning the future personally and professionally as educators.  A further focus will be the influence of the 7 Habits and overall leadership in education.
